Tommaso Ciampa challenges Kazuchika Okada for AEW International Title

Tommaso Ciampa has officially challenged Kazuchika Okada for the AEW International Championship at the upcoming All Out pay-per-view. During the September 16 episode of ‘AEW Dynamite’, Ciampa defeated Myles Hawkins before issuing a direct challenge to ‘The Rainmaker’.

Following the challenge, a verbal confrontation occurred between the two athletes. After Okada responded to an inquiry from Renee Paquette, Ciampa attacked Okada backstage. AEW President Tony Khan subsequently made the championship match official. This will mark the first time Ciampa and Okada have competed against one another, and it serves as the first title defense for Okada since winning the championship at AEW All In in London.
