Tommy Davidson and Tichina Arnold to star in new comedy

Tommy Davidson and Tichina Arnold are set to star in the new family comedy feature, ‘Search Party: Where’s Paw Paw?’. The film, which recently completed production in Los Angeles, marks the directorial debut of Victoria Monai Richards, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Sherrie Richards.

The story follows college student Noble Williams (played by Richards) as she returns home following concerning news about her Paw Paw’s health. Upon arrival with her two best friends and her aunt, the group discovers that Paw Paw has disappeared from his nursing home. The plot follows their chaotic search for him through a series of eccentric characters and clues.

Produced by Faith Plus Works Productions and The Harold Brothers, the film is described as an early 2000s-inspired, PG-rated comedy designed for multi-generational audiences. A theatrical release is expected in the fall.
