Tommy Hilfiger leads New York Fashion Week in Media Impact Value

Tommy Hilfiger led New York Fashion Week in Media Impact Value (MIV), generating $58 million according to data from fashion analytics firm Launchmetrics. The brand achieved this through a global talent strategy that utilized a diverse ensemble of voices across multiple markets rather than relying on a single A-list celebrity.

Nearly 90 percent of Hilfiger’s MIV was driven by social media, including $35 million from Media Voice. The brand’s reach included talent from Korea, Italy, Colombia, Brazil, Germany, and the United States. The company recorded 5,500 placements following its show at The Plaza hotel.

Calvin Klein ranked second with $47 million in MIV, followed by Carolina Herrera at $20 million, Tory Burch at $19 million, and Michael Kors at $16 million. Other top-ten performers included Cos, Thom Browne, Christian Siriano, Khaite, and Conner Ives.
