American actor Tommy Lee Jones is celebrating his 80th birthday on September 15. Born in San Saba, Texas, Jones has built a distinguished career spanning over five decades, characterized by his authoritative portrayals of law enforcement, military figures, and cowboys.

He is an Academy Award winner, having received the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as U.S. Marshal Samuel Gerard in the 1993 thriller ‘The Fugitive’.
