Tommy retail chain prepares for potential Zagreb Stock Exchange IPO

The Croatian retail chain Tommy has completed its transformation into a joint-stock company, a significant step toward a potential initial public offering (IPO) on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. The company increased its share capital from 2.54 million euros to 8.54 million euros by incorporating retained earnings. This capital is divided into 8,544,330 ordinary shares with a nominal value of one euro each.

Financial sources suggest the IPO could occur as early as this autumn. If the company offers between 25 and 30 percent of its shares, it could raise between 180 and 200 million euros in new capital. The offering may also include related production companies, Petason and Bobis. Following the listing, Tommy plans to invest between 300 and 350 million euros, primarily to expand production capacities and pursue potential acquisitions, with over 30 million euros earmarked for Bobis.

Tommy reported 726.3 million euros in revenue for 2025, representing a 12 percent increase from the previous year, with a net profit of 25.6 million euros and an EBITDA of approximately 80 million euros. The retailer currently operates 230 locations in Croatia.
