Tomoaki Makino wins J2 League Manager of the Month

Former Japan national team player Tomoaki Makino has been named the J2 League Manager of the Month for August. Leading Fujieda MYFC, Makino guided the team to a record of three wins and one loss during the period, maintaining a fourth-place position in the standings.

Makino, known for his enthusiastic management style and creative tactical boards, attributed the award to his players and coaching staff. He described his team's approach as an orchestra, emphasizing that while they are performing well, their “symphony” is not yet complete. The Japan Football Association (JFA) praised his ability to deliver substantive results alongside his high-profile personality.
