Tomohiro Kamiyama of WEST. featured in new Fuji TV music program

Fuji TV has launched a new drive-themed music program titled ‘MUSIC TRACKS’ on its FOD streaming service. The series features hosts Naoki Matayoshi and Takashi Yoshimura traveling to locations significant to various artists to explore their musical roots and histories.

The inaugural episode features Tomohiro Kamiyama of the group WEST. The journey begins in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai and includes a visit to the Nissei Theatre, the site where WEST.’s debut was originally announced. Kamiyama also visits a familiar musical instrument shop in Ochanomizu to perform a song that holds personal significance.

During the program, Kamiyama discusses his experiences with songwriting, his musical influences, and his relationships with fellow artists including SUPER EIGHT, V6, Hey! Say! JUMP, and Yuma Nakayama. The program is scheduled for terrestrial broadcast in the Kanto region on October 2, with a director’s cut version available on FOD.
