Tomohisa Yamashita to tour Kobe in MBS special

Artist and actor Tomohisa Yamashita will appear as a guest on a two-hour special of the MBS program ‘Gobu Gobu’ on August 15, 2026. Alongside host Masatoshi Hamada, Yamashita will explore various recommended spots in Kobe.

As Yamashita is scheduled to hold a concert in Kobe in November 2026, the program features him scouting locations for potential post-concert celebrations. The tour includes visits to Kitano to enjoy beef tongue dishes and the Kobe Trick Art Museum. The duo will also visit the Sannomiya area to discover unique ways to eat local specialties, such as pudding from Morozoff and steamed buns from Sannomiya Ikkankuro.

The special concludes with a visit to Kobe Animal Kingdom, where Yamashita will interact with animals including owls and shoebill storks. The broadcast is scheduled from 13:54 to 16:00 and will be available for streaming on TVer.
