Tomorrowland 2026 Allows Limited Pyrotechnics Amid Drought Restrictions
The Belgian electronic‑music festival Tomorrowland will permit a restricted set of pyrotechnic effects on its Mainstage during the second weekend (24‑26 July) of its 2026 edition. Local authorities have approved only short‑range T1 and T2 devices, while large aerial fireworks remain banned due to an orange‑level fire‑risk alert in the province of Antwerp.
The permission applies exclusively to the Mainstage; all other stages and the DreamVille camping area stay under a total pyrotechnic ban. Officials warned that the allowance can be withdrawn at any time if weather conditions worsen.
The festival’s Day 1 programme features a lineup that includes Hardwell, Swedish House Mafia, Alok, Kölsch and other international DJs, with live streaming available via One World Radio and the official Tomorrowland app.
