Tomorrowland Thailand festival to drive 5 billion baht economic boost

The inaugural Tomorrowland Thailand festival, scheduled for December 11–13, 2026, is expected to generate more than 5 billion baht in economic activity during its first year. Chonburi Governor Naris Niramaiwong reported that hotel bookings in Pattaya and Chonburi have already reached 42,000 room nights approximately three months ahead of the event.

Organizers anticipate more than 30,000 visitors per day, with over 90 percent of attendees expected to be international tourists. This influx is projected to benefit various local sectors, including restaurants, transportation, and community products. The event is also expected to create more than 7,500 local jobs in areas such as stage construction, security, and medical services, with specialized training provided through the Tomorrowland Academy.

Looking ahead to 2027, plans are underway to expand the festival to six days across two weekends, which could increase demand to 90,000 hotel room nights.
