Tomoshia Holdings and Fujitsu launch core system renewal project

Tomoshia Holdings and Fujitsu have launched ‘TO-One’ (Tomoshia Operations as One), a major project to overhaul the group’s core systems. Starting in September 2026, the initiative aims to integrate the sales management systems of Tomoshia’s subsidiaries—Asahi Food, Kanakan, and Marudai Horii—into a unified cloud-based platform.

The project utilizes Fujitsu’s ‘Fujitsu Food Distribution Sync Service’ to standardize business processes and strengthen the management foundation. By migrating from aging on-premise systems to a cloud environment, the group seeks to address industry-wide challenges such as labor shortages, population decline, and the complexity of managing diverse product masters and inter-company data.

The new system is scheduled to become operational in April 2029. It will incorporate AI capabilities, including AI-driven accounts payable reconciliation and chat-based inquiry support, to improve operational efficiency and reduce workloads. This digital transformation is a key component of Tomoshia Holdings’ medium-term management plan to achieve 1 trillion yen in sales by fiscal year 2027.
