Tomoyuki Sugano suffers shortest outing of season in Rockies loss

Colorado Rockies pitcher Tomoyuki Sugano suffered his seventh loss of the season during a game against the Cleveland Guardians on August 23. Sugano's performance marked his shortest outing of the season, as he was removed after pitching only three innings.

During his three innings on the mound, Sugano allowed nine hits, one walk, and five runs while striking out two batters. The early struggles included a three-run first inning. This performance caused his ERA to rise to 4.96.
