Tompolo and artisan groups pledge support for Tinubu's 2027 re-election

Various groups and individuals have announced support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid in Nigeria. High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, has donated several vehicles to the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement to facilitate grassroots mobilization. In Kogi State, 25 vehicles were donated to support the movement's structure, while 32 vehicles were provided in Bauchi State to assist in voter engagement.

Supporters of the donations argue that Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated courage through economic reforms, such as the removal of the petrol subsidy, direct local government funding, and decentralized electricity regulation. These measures are cited as essential for increasing state revenue and funding infrastructure.

Additionally, the Coalition of Nigerian Artisan Associations (CONAA) has pledged its support for the President and Vice President Kashim Shettima. The coalition, representing various trades including mechanics and carpenters, plans to conduct a nationwide tour to mobilize artisans across the country's 36 states.
