Tomás Arturo Sánchez school begins new restaurant construction

The Tomás Arturo Sánchez Educational Institution in Ipiales has begun construction on a new school restaurant. The project aims to improve infrastructure dedicated to student services by providing a proper space for the supply and consumption of food during the school day.

The initiative is intended to enhance student well-being and encourage classroom attendance. The start of construction was attended by the Mayor of Ipiales, who emphasized the importance of strengthening educational infrastructure as part of municipal efforts to improve school environments.

Rector Ramiro Rosero noted that the new facilities are a long-awaited intervention for the student community. Student representative Estefanía Tulcán also expressed expectations that the improved facilities will better address the needs of the student body during meal times.
