Toms River Brewing and New Jersey Devils debut Slap Shot lager

Toms River Brewing has released ‘Slap Shot’, a 4.2% American lager produced in partnership with the New Jersey Devils. This collaboration marks the first time the team’s official NHL logo will appear on a can from the brewery.

The beer’s name and design were selected by fans. Slap Shot will be available at the Prudential Center during Devils home games, at the Toms River Brewing taproom, and at various bars and stores throughout New Jersey.

This follows a previous 2022 collaboration between the organizations that produced a Kölsch-style ale called ‘Stick Toss’. Hopper McGrath, vice president of sales for Toms River Brewing, noted that the partnership provides significant visibility for the local craft brewery and the Toms River area.
