Tomás Zambrano and El Porvenir Mayor discuss municipal projects

Tomás Zambrano, President of the National Congress, met with Fernando Gómez, the Mayor of El Porvenir, Atlántida, to discuss municipal development projects. The discussions focused on critical needs in water, infrastructure, health, and education.

A primary objective is the development of long-term water management projects to prevent the northern communities from experiencing the severe droughts currently affecting the southern part of the country. The mayor requested a water planning vision spanning 20 to 30 years. Additionally, representatives plan to return to Congress next week to finalize budget requests for the upcoming year, specifically targeting health, infrastructure, and water resources.
