TOMTAŞ aims to turn Kayseri into an aviation and defense hub

TOMTAŞ aims to transform Kayseri into a primary support hub for the aviation and defense industries. Ali Ekşi, General Manager and Deputy Chairman of the Board of TOMTAŞ Aviation, stated that the company's mission is to revitalize the city's aviation history by focusing on production, assembly, maintenance, repair, and logistics.

Rather than focusing on new R&D or design, the company intends to support the mass production and supply chains of existing technological products developed by Turkish entities such as TUSAŞ, ROKETSAN, ASELSAN, and BAYKAR. A specific goal includes contributing to the Hürjet project to support its operations within the region.
