TomTom expands partnership with citiEU and evolves EV services

TomTom has expanded its partnership with citiEU to provide advanced traffic monitoring, location analytics, and mobility solutions across Europe and the Middle East. Under the agreement, citiEU will utilize TomTom’s portfolio—including live traffic services, historical traffic volumes, map data, and APIs—to assist organizations with geospatial trends, emergency response, and route optimization.

In addition to its transport modelling collaborations, TomTom is evolving its services to meet the needs of the mainstream electric vehicle (EV) market. As EV adoption grows, particularly in regions like Norway and the Netherlands, the company is focusing on enhancing charging point of interest (POI) data and granular driving information to support the transition from early adopters to the broader driving population.
