Tonalá police arrest man for alleged animal cruelty

Police in Tonalá, Jalisco, arrested a 49-year-old man, identified as Rogelio “N”, for the alleged abuse of a dog in the Paseos del Valle neighborhood. Authorities intervened after a woman reported that the man was attempting to cut off the animal's tail.

Officers separated the dog from the suspect and transferred the animal to the Salud Animal department for medical attention and protection. The suspect was subsequently handed over to the Fiscalía de Jalisco to face legal proceedings regarding the incident.
