Tonantzin Fernández equips San Pedro Cholula for safety and urban improvements

Municipal President Tonantzin Fernández of San Pedro Cholula delivered new equipment to the city’s Parks and Gardens department and to the Civil Protection agency. The gear will be used by the Brigada Pluvial, a unit that monitors flood risks during the rainy season, to strengthen preventive actions and improve response to emergencies such as fires or floods. Municipal Services Director Ir Iñuir Suárez thanked the mayor, noting that the tools will help maintain public spaces in a safer, more functional condition for residents. Civil Protection Director Rodolfo Fierro said the equipment will enhance the department’s capacity to protect the community’s integrity. Fernández highlighted the administration’s coordinated approach across municipal offices, emphasizing its commitment to public safety, well‑being, and the preservation of local heritage.
