Tongcheng Travel reports 10.5% revenue growth in H1 2026

Tongcheng Travel Holdings Limited reported its unaudited financial results for the first half of 2026, showing steady growth despite challenges in the Chinese tourism market. Total revenue for the first half of the year rose 10.5% year-on-year to RMB 9,992.8 million. Adjusted net profit increased by 14.6% to RMB 1,792.0 million.

The company’s core online travel platform revenue grew 12.7% to RMB 8,794.1 million. Accommodation booking services saw an 11.1% increase, driven by growth in international hotel room nights and a shift toward high-quality hotels. Transportation services revenue rose 2.1% to RMB 3,962.2 million, with international air ticket revenue maintaining strong momentum.

Tongcheng Travel continues to focus on the mass tourism market, with over 87% of its registered users located in non-first-tier cities in China. The group is also leveraging artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency and is expanding its hotel management business through the Yelong Hotel Technology Platform and Wanda Hotels and Resorts, currently operating over 3,500 hotels.
