Tongyeong releases Sebyeonggwan media art theme song by band KARDI

The theme song ‘Starry Path: Age of Light’ for the ‘2026 National Heritage Media Art Tongyeong’ has been officially released on global music streaming platforms. The song serves as the musical centerpiece for the media art exhibition held at Sebyeonggwan, a historic site representing the 400-year legacy of the Samdo Sugun Tongjeyeong.

The hybrid band KARDI served as the music directors for the project, reinterpreting the historical narrative of Sebyeonggwan through a modern lens. The track combines grand orchestration with the band’s signature sound, featuring the traditional Korean geomungo, alternative rock elements, and vocals by Kim Ye-ji. The music aims to convey themes of overcoming historical conflict and embracing a period of prosperity and peace.
