Toni Chaves re-elected president of Riviera Maya Hotel Association

Toni Chaves has been re-elected unanimously as the president of the Asociación de Hoteles de la Riviera Maya (AHRM) for the 2026-2028 term. The decision was reached during the association's Extraordinary General Assembly.

Chaves's new mandate will focus on maintaining the competitiveness of the Riviera Maya in the international tourism market. His strategic agenda includes strengthening promotion, connectivity, infrastructure, security, and sustainability. He also emphasized the importance of coordinated investment between the private sector and all levels of government to preserve the region's leadership.

Additionally, Chaves intends to continue strategic projects such as the ‘The Seas We Love’ initiative, which addresses the management of sargassum seaweed.
