Tonči Glavinić appointed Chief State Inspector

The Croatian Government has appointed Tonči Glavinić as the new Chief State Inspector of the State Inspectorate. To assume this new role, Glavinić has been relieved of his duties as State Secretary in the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets.

Prime Minister Andrej Plenković endorsed the appointment, describing Glavinić as an experienced civil engineer who has previously worked within the Inspectorate. The Prime Minister expressed confidence in Glavinić’s ability to perform the role effectively due to his familiarity with both the Inspectorate and the Government.

During the closed session, the Government also made several other administrative appointments and changes, including reauthorizing Stanka Vučica to perform the duties of President of the Civil Service Committee until September 2026, and updating members of the Council for National Minorities and various management boards.
