Toni Hackl reveals tarantula hobby on ‘Wer wird Millionär?’

Toni Hackl, a 25-year-old biology and chemistry teacher, surprised host Günther Jauch on the game show ‘Wer wird Millionär?’ by revealing his passion for exotic animals, specifically tarantulas.

Hackl reported owning approximately 30 adult tarantulas, in addition to various young spiders depending on breeding seasons. His interest in exotic animals began in childhood; he received his first spider, a Mexican redknee tarantula named Lisa, at the age of twelve. Hackl noted that Lisa is still with him and mentioned that female specimens of this species can live up to 30 years.
