Tonia Evans to release cover of Running Up That Hill

Toronto-based singer-songwriter Tonia Evans is releasing a personal cover of Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’ on July 16, 2026. The track is part of her upcoming album, ‘Love Me Till I’m Me Again.’

Evans describes the recording as a way to process betrayal trauma following the end of a 23-year marriage. She noted that the song was chosen during a period of personal difficulty to help express the emotional weight of her experiences. The recording session involved engineer Anthony Wright and vocal coach Lorraine Lawson.
