Tonny Sanabria joins Internacional on permanent transfer
Paraguayan striker Tonny Sanabria has been cleared to debut for Internacional following a permanent transfer from Italy's Cremonese. The 30-year-old has signed a contract with the Brazilian club through December 2029.
Sanabria brings extensive European experience to the squad, having played for clubs including Barcelona's youth academy, Roma, Genoa, Real Betis, and Torino. He has also represented the Paraguayan national team in over 50 matches, including the 2016 Copa América and World Cup qualifiers.
While Sanabria is available for upcoming matches, including the Gre-Nal derby in the Copa do Brasil, he may start on the bench due to a lack of recent match rhythm. His last competitive appearance was in April 2025 while playing for Torino.
