Tony Colombo announces new single ‘Neomelodico’

Singer Tony Colombo is releasing a new single titled ‘Neomelodico’ under the Altafonte Italia label. Co-written with Luca Barbato, the track is scheduled for release on October 31, 2026, across all major digital streaming and download platforms.

The song serves as an artistic and cultural manifesto intended to address the stereotypes and prejudices surrounding the neomelodico musical genre. Colombo expresses pride in the label, stating that while many artists distance themselves from the term to gain acceptance in the broader Italian music industry, he intends to embrace his roots.

Colombo describes the movement as a way to tell stories of love and life that deserves respect and dignity. He notes that the genre has evolved and integrated with other styles, such as rap, and is present in various Italian cities ranging from Naples to Milan and Palermo.
