Tony Effe sparks controversy with comments on food and body size

Italian rapper Tony Effe has sparked controversy following comments made during Milan Fashion Week. While attending a Diesel Spring/Summer 2027 collection show, Effe shared social media stories showcasing his outfit, which included a pair of women's size 26 jeans.

In his posts, Effe addressed his physique by stating, “This is a women's size 26: slaves to food, slaves to carbohydrates. You are just slaves to sugar.” The remarks have drawn criticism regarding the distinction between sharing personal fitness transformations and using them to judge others' bodies and eating habits.

Effe has recently undergone significant lifestyle changes, including using running as a tool to manage his addiction to marijuana, which he previously consumed daily. He has been documenting this fitness journey and his efforts to quit smoking on a secondary Instagram profile.
