Tony Gollan secures eleven winners in early racing season

Trainer Tony Gollan has established a dominant lead in the Brisbane training ranks, securing eleven winners within the first two weeks of the new racing season. His stable has achieved nearly three times the number of winners as his closest rival, supported by a diverse roster of seven different jockeys including Chelsea Baker, Ben Thompson, Emily Lang, and Bella Youngberry.

Among the successful runners is Precise Star, a gelding recently transferred from Chris Waller’s care to Gollan’s stable. After struggling to find form in Sydney, the horse has secured two victories at the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. Gollan expressed confidence in the horse’s metropolitan-class ability as it prepares for a Class 2 Handicap at Ipswich, where apprentice Bella Youngberry will provide a three-kilogram claim.
