Tony Iommi discusses Black Sabbath legacy and solo work

Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi discussed the longevity and influence of the band during a radio interview with Full Metal Jackie. Iommi attributed the group's enduring success to a fundamental belief in their music and a genuine love for performing, rather than financial motivations.

He noted that the band's rise was gradual due to the lack of modern tools like the internet or MTV, relying instead on word of mouth and physical touring. Iommi also touched upon his new solo album, ‘From the Dark’, his collaboration with Brian May, and the impact of recently resurfaced ‘Earth’ demos.
