Tony Iommi discusses new solo album ‘From the Dark’

Tony Iommi, the guitarist for Black Sabbath, is releasing a new solo album titled ‘From the Dark’. In recent comments, Iommi noted that the recording process was more relaxed than his work with Black Sabbath, as he faced no strict studio or touring deadlines.

Originally intended to be an instrumental project, Iommi decided to include vocals after deciding he wanted a singer. He selected Jorn Lande for the project due to his vocal style. The album features a backing band including bassist Becky Baldwin and drummer Karl Brazil, both of whom are based in Birmingham.
