Tony Iommi releases footage for ‘World Alone’ music video

Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has released behind-the-scenes footage from the music video for ‘World Alone’, the lead single from his upcoming solo album, ‘From The Dark’. The album is scheduled for release on October 23 via BMG.

‘World Alone’ features Norwegian vocalist Jorn Lande and is described as a rock song characterized by heavy guitar riffs and a driving rhythm section. The accompanying music video utilizes a retro-future, dystopian setting centered on a protagonist known as ‘The Believer’.

For the full album, Iommi is joined by Lande, bassist Becky Baldwin, and drummer Karl Brazil. The project is co-produced by Iommi and his longtime creative partner, Mike Exeter. Iommi stated regarding the new material, ‘It’s an album we’ve really enjoyed making. We’re not trying to prove anything — it’s a great album, it rocks!’
