Tony Khan would have supported Adam Copeland joining John Cena's farewell tour

AEW President Tony Khan stated he would have supported Adam Copeland participating in John Cena’s farewell tour if a formal proposal had been made. In a recent interview with Metro UK, Khan clarified that while Copeland believed AEW would have permitted a temporary return to WWE for the event, no official request was ever submitted by WWE to AEW or to Copeland himself.

Khan emphasized his willingness to collaborate with other organizations, noting that he would have approved the appearance had he been presented with a concrete plan, specific dates, and necessary details. He maintained that he would not have attempted to block a good-faith negotiation between the two companies.
