Tony Stewart to return to NASCAR Truck Series at Talladega

Three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Tony Stewart will return to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series on October 23 at Talladega Superspeedway. Driving the No. 25 Ram 1500 for Kaulig Racing, Stewart’s appearance is part of Ram’s Free Agent Driver Program, an initiative designed to feature a mix of legendary drivers and rising stars.

This marks Stewart’s second Truck Series start of the 2026 season, following his appearance at Daytona International Speedway earlier in the year. Stewart noted that the Talladega race provides an opportunity to help Kaulig Racing develop its drafting package and speed on superspeedways.

Tim Kuniskis, Head of American Brands at Stellantis, stated that bringing Stewart back to the high banks brings incredible energy to the team and NASCAR fans. The announcement has generated significant enthusiasm among the racing community on social media.
