Too $hort drops new album 'Sir Too $hort Vol. 2' as he turns 60

Oakland hip‑hop pioneer Too $hort, who just turned 60, released his 23rd studio album, Sir Too $hort Vol. 2: Drink & Smoke. The record, produced entirely by longtime collaborator Lil Jon, arrived on Friday, exactly 20 years after his hit “Blow the Whistle.”

In an interview, Too $hort said he has no intention of slowing down, describing his career as a lifelong “job” and emphasizing his love for making music, touring, and fatherhood. He reflected on the genre’s age expectations and highlighted his continued relevance alongside peers such as E‑40 and Snoop Dogg.
