Too Lost partners with Roblox to bring independent music to games

Music distributor Too Lost has signed a partnership with Roblox that places its catalogue of independent tracks into the user‑generated gaming platform. The deal makes songs by artists such as The All‑American Rejects, A$AP Ferg, Jessie Reyez, Teddy Swims and Alex Warren available for use in Roblox experiences, allowing creators to embed music directly into games and virtual spaces.

The agreement follows a similar arrangement with DistroKid earlier in 2024 and builds on earlier collaborations such as Monstercat’s 2020 deal. At present the partnership does not involve royalty payments; its focus is on promotion, discovery and data collection about how the platform’s 132 million daily active users engage with music. Too Lost CEO Gregory Hirschhorn said the partnership is "a major step forward in how independent music is discovered and experienced online," while Roblox’s Head of Music Partnerships Jessica Meehan highlighted the new pathways for artists to connect with fans in an immersive setting.
