Toobit completes expanded cybersecurity penetration testing

Cryptocurrency exchange Toobit has completed expanded penetration testing conducted by cybersecurity firm Hacken. The assessments covered the exchange’s web and API infrastructure, as well as its iOS and Android applications.

Hacken reported no critical or high-severity findings during the three assessments. Seven medium-severity findings were identified and subsequently fixed, improving protections for access controls and application data handling. This 2026 testing expands upon 2025 assessments that were limited to mobile applications.

The testing followed established standards, including NIST SP 800-115, the Penetration Testing Execution Standard (PTES), and the OWASP Testing Guide. This initiative is part of Toobit’s broader security framework, which includes ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification and its proprietary Bee-Safe multi-layered security system.
