ToolDance unveils X1 Smart Desktop CNC Mill at IFA 2026

ToolDance has officially unveiled its flagship X1 Smart Desktop CNC Mill at the IFA 2026 exhibition in Berlin, Germany. The company aims to provide professional-grade manufacturing capabilities in a desktop format suitable for makers, engineers, and small businesses.

The X1 features a 1,500W permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) spindle capable of reaching speeds up to 24,000rpm, with a positioning repeatability of ±0.01mm. Its three-axis work envelope measures 400 × 265 × 180mm, allowing for the production of functional parts such as molds, fixtures, and housings.

Designed for versatility, the machine supports both dry and flood-coolant machining across various materials, including metals, wood, and engineering plastics. The unit is built with a reinforced cast aluminum-alloy frame to support demanding manufacturing tasks.
