Participants of the culinary reality show ‘Top Chef VIP 5’ have been involved in various personal developments and public disputes.

Following their elimination from the competition, content creator La Divaza and former Miss Universe Alicia Machado engaged in a social media dispute. Machado criticized La Divaza’s personality on a Telemundo post, citing ‘extreme mental and emotional fragility.’ La Divaza responded by accusing Machado of envy and subsequently shared audio from a private Instagram direct message exchange, in which Machado reportedly told the influencer to ‘get a job.’ Both parties have since unfollowed each other on social media.

Separately, former Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios shared personal reflections during a segment on the show. Palacios addressed rumors regarding her marital status, clarifying that she has never been married or engaged despite a near-engagement in a previous relationship. She also expressed her desire to become a mother before the age of thirty and spoke about finding a new romantic partner.
