Topo Athletic unveils new CONNECT trail shoe color in Japan

American footwear brand Topo Athletic released a new earth‑tone color for its minimalist CONNECT trail shoe on August 5, 2026. Distributed in Japan by Alco Co., Ltd., the shoe features a low 10.5 mm stack height, a Vibram XS TREK outsole and the option to run without an insole. The retail price is ¥20,900 (tax‑included) and the model will be sold through the brand’s online store and nationwide retailers.

Swedish‑origin sports brand Craft announced a promotion for the 17th Fuji Oshino Highland Trail Race. From April 6 to May 10, 2026, customers who purchase any Craft trail‑running shoe in Japan are entered to win one of two free race entries for the June 7 event. All participants also receive a free Craft T‑shirt or sock. The race offers 34 km, 24 km and 14 km courses around Mount Fuji, with a new 4 km family run added for 2026.
