Toprak Razgatlioglu predicts easier MotoGP transition for Izan Guevara

Toprak Razgatlioglu believes his future Pramac Yamaha teammate, Izan Guevara, will experience a smoother transition to MotoGP than he did. Razgatlioglu cited several technical factors contributing to this advantage.

First, MotoGP is scheduled to switch tire suppliers from Michelin to Pirelli in 2027. Since Guevara currently competes in Moto2 using Pirelli tires, he will not face the same adaptation challenges regarding rubber characteristics. Additionally, the upcoming shift from 1000cc to 850cc engines will bring MotoGP machinery closer to the power profiles of Moto2 bikes.

Razgatlioglu also noted that Guevara’s natural riding style is already well-suited for the premier class. Guevara is expected to join a rookie class that includes Dani Holgado, David Alonso, Senna Agius, and Nicolo Bulega, taking over the seat previously held by Jack Miller.
