Toprak Razgatlıoğlu to miss remainder of MotoGP season

Pramac Yamaha rider Toprak Razgatlıoğlu will miss the final five races of the 2026 MotoGP season due to a shoulder injury. The injury occurred during a highside crash in the second free practice session at the Indonesian Grand Prix in Mandalika.

Following medical evaluations in Milan, it was determined that the injury is more severe than initially assessed and requires surgical intervention. The operation is scheduled for Monday, October 26, in Milan. Razgatlıoğlu expressed significant disappointment regarding the news, particularly noting his desire to compete at Phillip Island, a circuit where he has achieved notable success in his Superbike career.

Yamaha test rider Augusto Fernández will replace Razgatlıoğlu for the remaining rounds of the championship, starting with the Australian Grand Prix. The injury marks a premature end to the Turkish rider's debut season in the premier class.
