Toquinho announces Italian tour for 60th musical anniversary

Brazilian music icon Toquinho will return to Italy in February 2026 for his “60 Anni di musica” tour. The performances will feature a retrospective of his career spanning over six decades, accompanied by his guitar and singer Camilla Faustino, a prominent voice in the “Nuova MPB” movement.

The Italian tour includes scheduled dates at the Teatro Cartiere Carrara in Florence on February 4, the Teatro Arcimboldi in Milan on February 6, and the Auditorium della Conciliazione in Rome on February 9.

The announcement coincides with the 50th anniversary of the album “La voglia la pazzia l’incoscienza l’allegria,” a collaboration between Toquinho, Ornella Vanoni, and Vinícius de Moraes recorded in Rome in 1976. To celebrate this milestone, Nar International is releasing a new commemorative edition of the album on November 13, featuring previously unreleased tracks and studio exchanges between the artists.
