Tordesillas mayor reports attack on residence with homemade explosive

Miguel Ángel Oliveira, the mayor of Tordesillas, has reported an intimidation attack at his private residence. The incident occurred around 00:30 on Saturday, October 3, involving two vehicles.

According to the mayor, a container described as a “homemade explosive cocktail” consisting of bleach and other products was thrown against the facade of his home. The act was accompanied by intimidating messages directed at Oliveira personally and at the Partido Popular, the political party he represents.

Oliveira stated that the two vehicles fled the scene immediately after the incident. He has filed a formal complaint with the Guardia Civil to identify those responsible. The Tordesillas City Council has activated security protocols and is cooperating with law enforcement, including providing access to municipal security camera footage to assist the investigation.
