Tordesillas police arrest suspect linked to local shootings

Authorities in Tordesillas, Valladolid, have arrested a man known as ‘El Cigala’ following a month-long investigation into several shootings at local businesses. The suspect was apprehended after using a firearm again in the municipality, which allowed the Guardia Civil and local police to prevent his escape.

The Mayor of Tordesillas, Miguel Ángel Oliveira, stated that the individual is linked to drug trafficking and the ‘Los Carro’ clan. While the previous shootings caused significant concern among residents and merchants, no victims were reported in those incidents. Investigations are ongoing to determine if the suspect is connected to other criminal activities.
