Tore Müller appointed chairman of Mors-Thy Håndbold Akademi

Tore Müller has been appointed as the new chairman of the board for Mors-Thy Håndbold Akademi. Müller, a former chairman of the Children, Culture, and Tourism Committee in Morsø Municipality, succeeds Hans Riisager Holst, who is stepping down after five years in the role.

Müller has served on the academy's board for eight years and recently left local politics to dedicate more time to selected board responsibilities. He aims to leverage his professional network and political experience to strengthen the academy, which is recognized as a leading talent producer for men's handball in Denmark. The academy has a track record of developing players for major Danish and international clubs, as well as the national team.

Academy leadership, including daily manager Lars Svane Nielsen and director Ian Marko Fog, expressed support for the appointment. Fog noted that the talent academy serves as a vital strategic asset for the club in the Herreligaen.
