Torika Boseiwaqa selected for Fiji Mini Kulas squad

Fourteen-year-old Torika Boseiwaqa has been selected for the Fiji Mini Kulas squad to compete in the OFC U-16 Women’s Championship in the Solomon Islands. A student at Ba Sangam College, Boseiwaqa is the youngest of five siblings and follows in the footsteps of her elder sister, Sereana Naweni, a Fiji Kulas representative who has captained the U-19 side and scored for the senior national team.

The championship serves as a pathway to the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2027, with the two finalists earning qualification. Fiji is scheduled to face the Cook Islands on September 6, New Zealand on September 9, and host the Solomon Islands on September 12.
