Serie A club Torino is reshaping its squad under new head coach Ignazio Abate. The club is close to exercising a €2.5 million buyout clause for defender Enzo Ebosse, whose performances helped secure last‑season’s survival and who fits Abate’s preference for ball‑playing centre‑backs. At the same time, Torino is reassessing midfielder Aaron Ciammaglichella, who barely featured last season and may face another loan or be released. The club also confirmed that loanee defender Luca Marianucci will return to Napoli after a disappointing six‑month spell with only 11 appearances.
Other Italian clubs are also active. Avellino’s sporting director Mario Aiello outlined a list of potential signings, targeting midfield reinforcements from Juventus, Sassuolo and Palermo while deciding on goalkeeping options. Meanwhile AC Monza remains without a confirmed head coach after a brief silent period and the reported departure of Paolo Bianco.
