Torino FC signs midfielder Gaetano Oristanio on loan from Venezia

Torino Football Club announced that it has acquired Italian midfielder Gaetano Oristanio from Venezia on a temporary deal that includes an option to purchase permanently. The 21‑year‑old, born in Vallo della Lucania, progressed through Inter’s youth system, winning the Under‑16 league, the Under‑17 championship and the Supercoppa. He spent two seasons on loan at Dutch side Volendam, helping the club gain promotion to the Eredivisie, before returning to Italy for spells with Cagliari, Venezia and Parma in Serie A.

During his recent season with Venezia he made 37 league appearances, scoring three goals and providing three assists. Torino’s statement described the signing as a “warm welcome” and highlighted the player’s versatility as a left‑footed attacking midfielder capable of operating in the half‑space. The move is intended to strengthen Torino’s squad for the 2026‑27 campaign.
